Brunch at Tiffanys was super nice and brought me back the *best* cookies from Zabars in NYC. These are no ordinary cookies, these little rounds of dense cakey goodness have just the right touch of white icing and chocolate ganache.

Unfortunately I've inhaled all but one which I'm saving for my officemate (who's favorite cookie is, of course, the B&W), I may just have to make some more.

This morning, I contemplated the block of cheese that had fallen out of my refridgerator. As it sat on the floor in its protective plastic bag, it posed a very challenging question.

"Who's cheese was this?"

Wow, I'm special.

Mr. Optometrist tells me that I'm near sighted in my right eye, far sighted in my left eye. I guess that explains why if I'm having trouble seeing something, I can close one eye, and the object will come into focus.

Apparently only 2% of the population is this talented.

Washington DC is looking for a new voice!

The Metro system has opened up a contest to find the next voice for their train announcements. This move was prompted as a safety precaution because the current robotic voice is too soothing. Passengers are being lulled by the current voice instead of being called to attention.

What do you win? Bragging rights, sorry folks, no money.
